Can you make transition lenses?

We are not able to make transition lenses. We have found that transition lenses don't darken enough, or stay at a specific point, to provide the right protection against light.

Instead, we offer a range of specialized tints, many with multiple strength options, designed to address the varying needs of our customers as well as different lighting situations.

When looking at lens options that come in multiple tint strengths, most people start with the "standard" tint level. If you know you need more protection than the average person, try "extra" or "max" strength, if available.

If you're looking for sunlight protection, then we recommend giving a pair of FL-Sun™ Dark+ or Ultradark+ a try instead.
