Do TheraSpecs use FL-41?
Our FL-Pro™, FL-Blend™, Flex, and FL-Sun™ lenses use FL-41 tints to target uncomfortable wavelengths, giving you the protection you need. If you’re not familiar with the power of FL-41, these lenses are designed to reduce irritating light between 480-520nm, offering protection for various types of light sensitivity. By filtering these wavelengths, TheraSpecs FL-41 glasses may also help people live more comfortably with migraine, if that is a source of their sensitivity, as part of an overall light management plan.
FL-Pro offers the strongest protection against artificial light sources like screens, fluorescents and LEDs. If you are looking for a lens that trades a little less protection for a more discreet tint, you might try FL-Blend.
Flex is the lightest version of FL-41 we offer; it is even light enough to be worn while driving at night, if headlights and other bright light on the road is irritating.
FL-Sun features dark, polarized FL-41 lenses to give you more protection when outdoors than normal sunglasses.
