What frame materials are TheraSpecs made with?

We've designed TheraSpecs to be as lightweight as possible, using high-quality materials to provide the comfort and protection you deserve. Our frames are made of acetate, polycarbonate, metal, or TR-90.

None of our styles contain latex, and any hinges that contain nickel are coated for protection and cannot touch the skin.

Non-prescription TheraSpecs are made with advanced nylon lenses with premium hard coatings, including anti-reflective and scratch and smear resistance.

We also use silicone pads for our styles that include adjustable nose pads (like Pilot and Haven).
